Stony Brook University Employee Assistance Program. It is a voluntary, confidential assessment and referral service at no cost to faculty and staff offering assistance in resolving personal, family and work issues. Staffed by caring professionals, EAP also provides on-site critical incident response services to help a department following a traumatic event such as a serious injury, illness or death of an employee or family member. Other services include wellness and work-life balance, a Lunchtime Learning series, an EAP Lending Library, consultation around workplace issues for employees and supervisors.
