Overview

Diversity Day was the brain-child of the Presidents’ Student Advisory Council as a way to bring individuals of different backgrounds together for a day of celebration and togetherness. The experiment was a renowned success and brought about a new tradition within Stony Brook, Diversity Day.

The campus celebrates its diversity every spring semester during Strawberry Festival where both events go hand-by-hand promoting and celebrations our strengths in our differences and our mosaic of Diversity.
