Open Doors / Open Minds (Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day)

The National Take Our Daughters to Work Day® has now become Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day® in the hopes of supporting and encouraging the dreams and aspirations of all of our children.  Likewise, Stony Brook University invites children of faculty and staff to participate in a program called Open Doors / Open Minds aimed at exposing our children to opportunities they might otherwise not have known existed.

Departments and offices throughout campus open their doors to children and their parents/guardians from Stony Brook University, offering tours and hands-on activities.  Programs are geared to children from 8 to 13 years old.
