Stony Brook will celebrate their 53rd May Commencement
Doctoral Graduation and Hooding Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 1:00 pm in the Pritchard Gym.
Baccalaureate Honor Ceremony (invitation only) will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, 6:30 pm in the Pritchard Gym.
Main University Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013, at 11:00 am in the Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.

IMPORTANT - A Ceremony Attendance Form must be completed on the SOLAR System no later than midnight 5/3/13 in order to obtain tickets. If you have difficulty completing the form on the SOLAR System, contact the Office of Conferences and Special Events at 631.632.6320.
CAMPUS - Stony Brook University consists of 125 buildings situated on 1,039 acres on the north shore of Long Island. The main Commencement ceremony scheduled on 5/24/13 at the Kenneth P. LaValle stadium will take place rain or shine.
To avoid congestions surrounding the stadium on 5/24, we highly recommend parking at the South P-lot accessed from the south entrance off Nicolls Road and utilize the bus service to main campus. Buses will run 8 am to 6pm for commencement guests to and from various points (see Commencement campus map). Guests should be aware that the distance between buildings may be too difficult to walk. For those unable to walk this distance, we highly recommend guests viewing the live webcast of the main ceremony from the SB website.
