Congratulations to the candidates of the Class of 2013 on your graduation from Stony Brook University. The information provided on this web site will assist candidates, their family or guests in preparation for December Commencement which is scheduled for December 21, 2012. The ceremony will confer bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees for Summer 2012, Fall 2012 and Winter 2013 graduates.

To participate in December Commencement ceremony, candidates must submit a "Ceremony Attendance Form" on SOLAR to obtain tickets. This link will be available on SOLAR from October 15, 2012 through midnight of November 30, 2012. Once submitted, candidates will receive an immediate confirmation instructing them when and where to pick up their tickets.

This December graduation will be held in the Pritchard Gym. Commencement ceremonies scheduled as follows:

  • 10:00 am to approximately 11:30 am (Assemble at 9:00 am):

  • 2:00 pm to approximately 3:30 pm (Assemble at 1:00 pm):
