Important Dates

September 12: Deadline for UNDERGRADUATE candidates to apply for graduation. Applying for graduation after this date will not guarantee that your name will appear in the printed commencement program.

September 19: Deadline for GRADUATE candidates to apply for graduation. Applying for graduation after this date will not guarantee that your name will appear in the printed commencement program.

October 1: Deadline for SPD candidates to apply for graduation. Applying for graduation after this date will not guarantee that your name will appear in the printed commencement program.

October 24: Ceremony Attendance Form Link is now available on the SOLAR System to candidates that applied to graduate. This form must be completed in order to obtain tickets to the Main Ceremony. Contact the Office of Conferences and Special Events (631-632-6320) if you have difficulty completing the form.

November 15 : Retainable caps, gowns, and hoods will be available for undergraduate and master candidates to purchase at the University Bookstore. Selections will become more limited as Commencement Day approaches.

November 30: Last day Ceremony Attendance Form Link will be available on the SOLAR System. All candidates planning to attend the ceremony must submit this form to receive tickets.

December 6: Ticket distribution 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Charles B. Wang Center, Room 102.

December 7: Ticket distribution 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Charles B. Wang Center, Room 102.

December 12: Ticket distribution 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Charles B. Wang Center, Room 102.

December 13: Ticket distribution 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Charles B. Wang Center, Room 102.

December 16: Ticket distribution of unclaimed tickets at 4:00 pm in the Charles B. Wang Center, location TBD.

December 22: Graduation assembly at 12:00 pm (noon) Pritchard Gym. March begins promptly at 12:45 pm; Ceremony begins at 1:00 pm.
