Stony Brook University - Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies

Humanities Interdisciplinary

The major in Humanities Interdisciplinary Studies (HUM) is designed for students attracted to humanistic study -- in art, film, history, languages, literature, music, philosophy, theatre -- who prefer not to be constrained by specialization in a single field.

The HUM major involves introductory and advanced studies in several departments.

Potential majors are strongly urged to consult the Director of Undergraduate Studies to help them prepare individual programs.
