Reducing Prejudice: A Matter of Education

The mission of the Council for Prejudice Reduction is to advance equity and reduce prejudice in collaboration with public schools. Their 19th annual conference, "Reducing Prejudice: A Matter of Education" welcomes people from all groups, including:

• Education: Administrators, Teachers, Support Staff, Counselors, Security officers, Parents; Community Leaders, Board Members
• Other Leaders: Businss, Law, Social Sciences, Human Resources, Health, Mental Health, Policy, Government
• College/Graduate Students: Education, Law, Social Work, Sociology, History, Policy, Political Science

For the first time, Stony Brook H.E.A.L.S brings  AVARTAN,  a musical journey,  to you to enjoy with your family and friends.
This program is a celebration of Indian Classical music and dance with noted artists:

• Kathak exponent  ADITI BHAGWAT (www.aditibhagwat.com)
• and a renowned Tabla artist NARENDAR BUDHKAR

This concert is being organized to help build a school for war affected children in Sierra Leone. All heartfelt donations will go towards this noble cause.
