Change of Program or Degree Level

Students studying in the U.S. on F-1 status must be engaged full-time in the program of study indicated on their SEVIS Form I-20. If you wish to change your degree level or program of study, you must obtain a new SEVIS Form I-20 / DS-2019 that reflects the change.

Listed below are the procedures for requesting a Change of Program or Change of Degree Level, please read carefully as the steps differ for Undergraduate and Graduate students.
