Cultural Opportunities

Staller Center

Since opening in 1978, Staller Center for the Arts has presented an ever-expanding schedule of live music, dance, theatre, and fine art exhibitions in its five theaters and 5,000 square foot Gallery. The Staller Center offers a wide variety of world class performances from September through May and presents the Stony Brook Film Festival every July.

The Charles B. Wang Center is dedicated to being the foremost world-class center of Asian and Asian American arts and culture. The Wang Center has committed to creating, establishing, organizing and documenting programs of the highest caliber that reflect both traditional and contemporary Asian and Asian American cultures and societies. These programs include exhibitions, films, lectures, conferences, performances, and educational discussions.

Simons Center

The Simons Center for Geometry and Physics Art Program is an outreach program connecting artists and scientists. The Program aims to establish the Center as a venue for artistic science-inspired productions and events of interest and benefit to the entire Stony Brook University campus and local/regional community.
