ThINC is a core facility of the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (aertc.org). It is dedicated to establishing partnerships between Stony Brook University and industrial laboratories for enabling cutting-edge energy research and renewal.
It is a new comprehensive core for multiscale characterization and imaging, with facilities for sample preparation, imaging and thermo-mechanical characterization. It has PhD Scientists ready to run your samples and provide guidance in choosing the best solutions for your material-related problems.
Our facility opens doors to regional industry and students, providing them with educational resources allowing them to explore, innovate, and go further into the world of nanotechnology.
