The University of Auckland is New Zealand's number one university, ranked in the world's top 50 universities, and top in New Zealand for research. Students can study a wide range of courses, from architecture and arts to science and technology. Students enroll directly in University courses alongside other New Zealand students. Auckland's international student program offers a wide variety of activities for exchange students and has a strong support system to ensure a smooth transition into the University. Located in the city of Auckland, New Zealand, the University of Auckland is a member of "Universitas 21," an organization some of the most important institutions in the world join. Steeped in Maori culture as well as that of the British, it is an interesting choice for students of Anthropology.
