University of the Aegean

About the Program

The University of the Aegean consists of five Schools and sixteen Departments that, together with the technical and administration offices, form the five University Units based on five islands. Fields of study include social anthropology and history, geography, sociology, environmental studies, marine sciences, business administration, financial and management engineering, mathematics, information and communication systems engineering, statistics and actuarial science, education and educational design.

Tuition Rate $3,085 per semester for NY residents; $9,795 per semester for non-residents

Other Fees

Students pay room, board, books, transportation and other university fees directly to overseas university

Travel Costs

$1,550-$2,000 (approximately; Students are responsible for their travel arrangements including airfare, visa costs)

Housing arrangements are coordinated directly with the partner university. Cost will vary depending on accommodation types and personal preference.

Grades earned in an exchange program WILL NOT calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.

Non-SBU students must contact their home university regarding their grade and credit transfer policy.
