About the Program
The program offers regular university courses in chemistry, economics, history, linguistics,
mathematics, philosophy, physics, psychology, and sociology. Additional fields of
study include computer science, ecology, humanities, information technology, language
study, literature, religion, and social sciences. Limited number of courses available
in English. Scholarships available to qualified students. The University of Konstanz
is situated on the banks of Lake Constance which is the border between Germany, Switzerland
and Austria. It houses over 10,000 students from over 90 nations and is rooted in

Housing arrangements are coordinated directly with the partner university. Cost will vary depending on accommodation types and personal preference.
Cost Comparison: The average cost for a full time Stony Brook Student including tuition, insurance, housing, and meal plan is approximately $10,445 in-state and $15,735 out-of-state.
Grades earned in an exchange program WILL NOT calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.
