About the Program
Study at one of China's most prestigious Universities as an exchange student. Students enroll in courses for foreign students and/or regular university courses if fluent in Chinese. Intensive language study program (Mandarin Chinese); reading, writing, speaking, and listening taught as separate subjects at all levels. Fields of study include Chinese, culture, history, language study, literature; also engineering, fine arts, humanities, and natural and physical sciences in Chinese. Exchange students live in foreign student dormitories.

Cost Comparison: The average cost for a full time Stony Brook Student including tuition, insurance, housing, and meal plan is approximately $10,445 in-state and $15,735 out-of-state.
Grades earned in an exchange program WILL NOT calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.
