About the Program
Founded in 1963, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a forward looking comprehensive
research university with a global vision and a mission to combine tradition with modernity,
and to bring together China and the West. CHUK's general education courses broaden
students' interests, widen their perspectives, and develop their ability to face the
challenges of contemporary life. CUHK offers studies in seven faculties - Arts, Business
Administration, Education, Engineering, Medicine, Science and Social Science - and
the new School of Law. Students enroll directly in University courses along with Chinese
and other international students. The language of Instruction is English. The Chinese
University lies on a spacious 134-hectare campus with more than 130 state-of-the-art
buildings. It rises from Tolo Harbour just north of Sha Tin.

Grades earned in an exchange program WILL NOT calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.
