University of Seoul International Summer School

About the Program

The International Summer School I(ISSI) program at the University of Seoul (UOS) was first established in 2000, and provides international students with a great opportunity to learn about Korean culture and tradition. Reorganized in 2005, the ISS has been receiving increased funding from the Seoul Metropolitan Government and offers various incentives to participants coming from not only the partner universities but also many prestigious universities over the world.

Application Fee $60
Tuition Rate $245 per credit for NY residents; $742 per credit for non-residents

Administrative Fee $200 (non-refundable)
International Health Insurance Included in the Program Fee
Other Fees

$2,500 (approximately; Students pay room, board, books, transportation and other university fees directly to overseas university)

Travel Costs

$1,800 (approximately; Students are responsible for their travel arrangements including airfare, visa costs)

Costs are estimates for planning purposes of the student and are subject to change at any point.

Housing arrangements are coordinated directly with the partner university. Cost will vary depending on accommodation types and personal preference.

More Information

Grades earned in an exchange program WILL NOT calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.

Non-SBU students must contact their home university regarding their grade and credit transfer policy.
