About the Program
Korea University International Summer Campus (KUISC) provides excellent opportunity
for students to learn about Korea through academic and cultural immersion during the
summer months. Choose from a wide range of courses in various disciplines including Economics, Humanities,
Psychology & Sociology, Fine Arts & Design, Science & Engineering, Law, Politics &
International Relations, Korean Studies, and Korean Language.
Course of Study
*6 undergraduate credits required
The program will have a broad selection of courses, along with local excursions and cultural activities available for International Summer Exchange participants. Students will also have the opportunity to interact and make friends with their peers from around the globe.

This is an exchange program. Applications must be submitted to Stony Brook University first. Information regarding the next steps in the process will be distributed to students who have received formal nominations by their Exchange Advisor.

*Please note accommodation check in is usually a few days prior to the start of the program, further information will come from the partner university
Independent Arrangement (Dormitory style residence coordinated directly with the partner university)
March 1 (*Deadline extended to March 15)
$270 per credit for NY residents;
$988 per credit for non-residents

Included in the Program Fee
$2,500 (approximately; Students pay room, board, books, transportation and other university fees directly to overseas university)
$1,800 (approximately; Students are responsible for their travel arrangements including airfare, visa costs)
Costs are estimates for planning purposes of the student and are subject to change at any point.
Housing arrangements are coordinated directly with the partner university. Cost will vary depending on accommodation types and personal preference.
Grades earned in an exchange program WILL NOT calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.
Non-SBU students must contact their home university regarding their grade and credit transfer policy.
