Ewha University Summer School
About the Program
Ewha's International Summer program is designed for globally-minded students pursuing
both academic and cultural endeavors. Academically, Ewha’s summer program is renowned
for its dedicated and experienced professors, not to mention a broad array of courses
on offer that provide students with effective learning opportunities in many disciplines. During the program students participate on field trips in and out of Seoul where they
will experience Korean history culture and traditions. *Please note these arrangements and additional fees involved are coordinated directly
with the partner university.
Course of Study
*6 undergraduate credits required
Ewha's International Co-ed Summer College offers courses in Korean/East Asian Studies, Social Sciences, Women's Studies, Business and Economics, Natural Sciences, North Korean Studies, Music, Art and Design and Korean Language.

This is an exchange program. Applications must be submitted to Stony Brook University first. Information regarding the next steps in the process will be distributed to students who have received formal nominations by their Exchange Advisor.

Independent Arrangement (Dormitory style residence coordinated directly with the partner university)

$257 per credit for NY residents;
$816 per credit for non-residents

Included in the Program Fee
$2,200 (approximately; Students pay room, board, books, transportation and other university fees directly to overseas university)
$1,800 (approximately; Students are responsible for their travel arrangements including airfare, visa costs)
Costs are estimates for planning purposes of the student and are subject to change at any point.
Grades earned in an exchange program WILL NOT calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.
Non-SBU students must contact their home university regarding their grade and credit transfer policy.
