Saturday classes:Finals are scheduled for Saturday, December 16, 2017, during the scheduled class time.

*Periods 1 and 3 include an additional 15 minutes for exam administration.

The last exam of the course, whether comprehensive or covering only a portion of the material, must be given during the Final Exam Period. Exceptions may only be granted by the Dean for compelling academic reasons. Students who find that a final exam has been scheduled during the last week of classes in any of their courses should contact the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs at 631-632-7081.

Instructors and students should refer to policy statements on the Office of the Provost and Office of the Registrar websites.

To determine the time and date of your examination, find the time your class lecture meets (or the “common exam” box for large multisectioned courses) and look to the left of the row to find the day of the exam, and to the top of the column for the time.

If your lecture meets one day a week at a non-standard time, the examination will be held at the previous standard lecture time (e.g., the exam for a class that begins at 10:45 A.M. on Monday will be held at the time indicated for classes that meet at 10:00 – 10:53 A.M. on MWF).

Classes that meet on MW 5:00-6:50 P.M. will hold exams during the MW 5:30-6:50 P.M. exam time slot and classes that meet on TUTH 5:00-6:50 P.M. will hold exams during the TUTH 5:30-6:50 P.M. time slot.

Unless otherwise announced, the examination will be given in the room where the regular class is held.

Students taking evening classes must be careful to avoid conflicts with Evening Midterm exams and regularly scheduled classes and to avoid conflicts with Final Exams. Instructors are not obligated to give makeup examinations to students in cases of such conflicts.

It is the responsibility of the student to plan a class schedule that avoids exam conflicts and too many exams in the same day.
