Selection Process

Nomination

Prospective advisors are nominated by Stony Brook University faculty and staff.

Application

Nominees are sent application materials and will have an opportunity to learn more about the Council through meetings and interviews.

Interview

Finalists are invited to participate in a formal interview.

Selection

Final decisions regarding Council membership are always made by the President.
