National Postdoc Appreciation Week
Join us to celebrate National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) this September 15-19, 2014. NPAW is the fifth annual celebration honoring postdocs and recognizing the contributions they make to research and development in the United States. Stony Brook University will hold several events to commemorate NPAW. See details below!
Stony Brook University Events
Start your postdoc appreciation early with a special breakfast.
Celebrate the start of NPAW at a picnic with your fellow postdocs, friends and families. The gazebo at Holtsville Park is situated next to a playground and to the Holtsville Wildlife & Ecology Center (a little zoo of mostly rescued animals). Join us! Food will be served. This event is free.
SBU Postdoc Spotlight is a celebration of the research performed by Stony Brook's postdoctoral scholars. Postdocs will have the opportunity to spotlight their innovations in a short, accessible talk for a broad audience and provide a snapshot of the world-class research underway at the University.
