Holiday Inn Express, Stony Brook, NY: Holiday Inn Express is located 3.2 miles from Stony Brook University, and free shuttle service is available.
Danfords Hotel and Marina, Port Jefferson, NY: Danfords Hotel and Marina is located 3.5 miles from Stony Brook University. Taxi service from the hotel to the university is available.

INTERNET ACCESS ON CAMPUS:  
(i) You can sign in to Stony Brook’s free wi-fi system: WolfieNet-Guest. After you select this network, please access any website from your favorite Internet browser. You will be automatically redirected to the WolfieNet-Guest portal. Click on the red Guest Registration button, complete all the required information and click ✓Register. Then check the email account you provided during registration for a message with your username and password. You will need this information to sign in. (ii) If you have used Eduroam before, you can sign in to this network at Stony Brook University. Eduroam allows you to use one single login procedure to access wi-fi at many institutions around the world. Consult your institution to see if it’s part of Eduroam and how to access it.
