Main University Commencement
On Friday, May 22, 2015, Stony Brook will celebrate Commencement for candidates eligible for graduation Spring and Summer 2015. The main ceremony will begin at 11:00 am in the Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium. You must line up with the other MTD graduates at 10:15 am.
All guests are required to have a ticket for entrance.
IMPORTANT - A Ceremony Attendance Form must be completed on the SOLAR System beginning March 9 and no later than May 1 in order to obtain tickets. If you have difficulty completing the form on the SOLAR System, contact the Office of Conferences and Special Events at 631.632.6320.
Each candidate who completes the ceremony attendance form on the SOLAR
March 9-May 1, will receive 3 tickets. Candidates must show current identification during the schedule below to pick up their tickets. If tickets are not picked up during this time, you will automatically forfeit your tickets. There will not be any extra tickets.

Departmental Commencement Ceremony
MTD Convocation will be held at 4pm, May 22 in the Student Activities Center (SAC), Ballroom B. Tickets are not required for this event; all your guests are invited. Please complete response form by clicking here.
CAPS AND GOWNS
All candidates planning to march in the Commencement procession must be robed. Retainable RED caps, gowns and hoods can be purchased at the University Bookstore April 14th. The cap and gown package will be available to purchase at the Graduation Fair at a discounted price on April 14 & 15, in the Bookstore.
NOTE: Candidates attending the commencement ceremony with any special needs should notify the Office of Conferences and Special Events for special arrangements at (631) 632-6320. Candidates who cannot pick up their tickets during the above times, should email Conferences.firstname.lastname@example.org.
