The collection is comprised of 0.9 cubic ft. of correspondence, legal documents, deeds, and other paper-based files. According to the Queens Borough Public Library, whose Long Island Division includes related archival materials, David William Skidmore (1808-1878) and his son William A. Skidmore (1836-?) were involved as guardians to the Fleury family.
