iCREATE's Inventor Summer Camp

iCREATE is a department within the Division of Information Technology aimed at cultivating an environment that fosters engagement, creation and collaboration by encouraging tomorrow's leaders to explore the boundaries of their imagination by exposing them to today's latest innovations. In this week-long adventure, middle school students will be immersed in state of art technology, and will learn how to brainstorm innovative designs, and transform them into products.

 

The 2021 Summer Camp will be the week of July 12-16th.

This will be an in-person camp.

What will students gain in this camp?

Students will use autocad design software to make their ideas become realitypic

Students will learn different aspects of innovation technology and its applications

Students will learn the importance of media and marketing

Most importantly, students will have a lot of fun gaining the experience through hands on projects

Summer Camp Dates and Times

Monday, July 12th 2021 - Friday, July 16th 2021 from 9AM till 1PM

- $200 refund will be issued to you if you cancel your registration prior to May 15th. 

LOCATION AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The camp will take place on Stony Brook University campus in Harriman Hall 210. You will drop off and pick up your child at SAC Loop; we will provide a representative waiting for your child in the morning and we will also walk him or her back at the end of the day.

 We prefer that your child wears sneakers or closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Your child will be under our supervision at all times and there will be a break with snacks provided (please let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies).
