The Center for India Studies has enriched the cultural scene on Long Island and in the New York metropolitan area by bringing a cornucopia of Indian performance arts performed by the greatest living artists in India and in the U.S. These range from Classical Indian music and dance performances to operas and harikatha and many others in between. The Center is proud of having organized not one but two programs in Carnegie Hall by one of India's top artists, Ustad Amjad AH Khan and his sons.
