About the Program

Stony Brook University is proud to launch the first Global Summer Institute in 2017. We invite the international community to be a part of this exciting new program. Choose one of our four options to advance your academic and professional goals. You will expand your cultural horizons and have a one-of-a-kind experience. Join us this summer to enjoy the natural beauty of Long Island and the cosmopolitan flair of New York City!

I ELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 80 / CET 6

You can enroll in two 3-credit courses (6 credits total)

IELTS 5.5-6.0 / TOEFL 70-79 / CET 4

You can enroll in one 3-credit course + English for Academic Success (EAS).

If you want to register for a second 3-credit course, you will have to take an oral interview.
