Welcome to the Graduate School's Online Newsletter! This Newsletter is for and about our graduate students and alumni and the pivotal role YOU play in the academic mission of our University. We will feature successful alumni, recognize current student and faculty achievements, and announce new university endeavors and events.

Our goal is to build graduate communities in our programs and re-establish ties with you, our broader alumni community. This is an exciting time for graduate education at Stony Brook. We currently offer graduate programs in forty-eight fields across the Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Business, Journalism, and Health and Medicine. As a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities and with our partnerships with Brookhaven National Laboratory and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, we offer a unique opportunity to become involved in cutting edge research and scholarship.
