CPEP Psychiatrist - Clinical Assistant Professor

Required Qualifications

MD with Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry. New York State license eligible. Ability to provide cross-coverage, including some evening and night shifts.  Weekend shifts are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical experience in a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program or other emergency psychiatric setting. Track record of research/teaching experience in Emergency Psychiatry. Interest/training in Child Psychiatry.

Responsibilities & Requirements

A clinician is needed to serve as an Attending Psychiatrist in our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program.  Full time and part time opportunities available with cross coverage as necessary.  Responsible for psychiatric evaluation, and management of patients in CPEP /ED of University Hospital.  Teaching and supervision of medical students and residents.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
