Clinical Assistant Professor

Required Qualifications

MD/DO degree.  Board Certified or Board Eligible.  Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology surgery.  New York State licensure or eligibility.  Demonstrated clinical and research capabilities.  Interest and experience in teaching and supervision of undergraduate, medical students and residents.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an academic medical facility with an active clinical practice. Demonstrated experience in research and the mentoring of residents and medical students. Publications and clinical experience in Pediatric Otolaryngology surgery.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Stony Brook University Department of Surgery and the Division of Otolaryngology is recruiting an attending at the level of Assistant Professor to serve the medical needs of an expanding Pediatric Otolaryngology practice.  The selected candidate will work closely with the current Pediatric Otolaryngologist as well as with other surgeons in the Division and Department.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.  Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
