Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor

Required Qualifications

MD or equivalent and board certifications in Anesthesiology with a minimum of five (5) year's professional experience in an outpatient chronic pain management center, in an academic setting. Completion of accredited fellowship in pain medicine, sub-specialty board certification. Licensure/eligibility for licensure in New York State.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience/proven performance involving administrative responsibilities coupled with evidence of research commitment and productivity.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The candidate will serve as the Director of the Center for Pain Management in the Department of Anesthesiology. This is a key position with responsibility for coordinating all clinical, academic and administrative activities in the Center and also promiting the professional development of its faculty members. 

Special Notes

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Eligibility for tenure will be based upon applicants' qualifications and experience.  To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
