Assistant or Associate Professor

Required Qualifications

MD/DO Degree; Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.  Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.

Preferred Qualifications

Research experience and interest in developing a research program.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Development of research programs, teaching and participation in patient care programs appropriate to a major university.  Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching.  Candidates must have a commitment to excellence, education, patient safety and collaboration.  The position will be full-time, faculty, academic.  To qualify for Associate Professor faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).

 

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.  Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
