Palliative Medicine Physician - Faculty Position
Required Qualifications
MD or equivalent. Board Certified/Eligible in Palliative Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
Fellowship trained Palliative Medicine Attending with interest in developing palliative
care education and/or research.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The Assistant Professor will be active clinically as a member of an experienced and
valued interdisciplinary team providing inpatient care services to patients at Stony
Brook University Hospital, with growth potential in outpatient. In addition, the incumbent
will have the opportunity to develop research and/or educational programs for trainees
of all levels at Stony Brook Hospital and Stony Brook School of Medicine.
Special Notes
This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime
provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
