This applies to Stony Brook main campus, SB Southampton and SB Manhattan campuses
and includes the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Health Technology
& Management, School of Social Welfare, and the School of Dental Medicine. Students
with clinical obligations should make every effort to attend rotations and contact
their clinical coordinators with any questions or concerns.
Please note that only the Governor of New York State can close state offices, agencies,
and campuses. When offices are open, employees are expected to report to work. During
emergencies non-essential employees may request supervisory approval to charge their
accruals when offices are open. Essential employees must report in accordance with

are all deemed 'essential', are unaffected by this cancelation, and therefore must
report to work according to their regular schedule. This also applies to employees
designated as 'essential' in certain areas assigned to West Campus that deliver Health

Counseling And Psychological Services (CAPS), Center for Prevention and Outreach
