Welcome to Summer Conference Housing at Stony Brook University. The University provides comfortable and affordable housing arrangements in state of the art residence hall facilities for individuals and groups who are participating in Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and meetings at Stony Brook and the surrounding area.
Whether you are planning a meeting, conference, retreat or special event, we are available to support your on-campus housing needs. Stony Brook University is home to a large variety of residence halls, suites and (on a limited availability basis) apartments. Housing rates vary and are based upon the type of facility reserved, style of occupancy (shared vs private occupancy), level of amenities provided, and staffing levels. Please be aware that use of campus facilities (space) by outside sponsored groups requires a Facilities Use Permit for both long and short-term arrangements. Click here for more information.
Adult and Professional Conference are typically assigned to the Nobel Halls, the first (GOLD) LEED certified residence hall on the Stony Brook Campus, Built in 2010, each unit in the Nobels has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a common living area. The suites are fully furnished, provide individual climate controls in each unit, wired and wireless ethernet access and cable tv jacks (tvs not included). There is a linen service available for guests who prefer not to travel with their own linens.
NOTE: Placement into specific spaces is determined by dates of reservation and availability of space.
Each residential facility has a recreational and tv lounge, a seminar/meeting room and coin operated laundry facilities available for our Conference Housing guests. Spaces can be reserved by specific groups and are available on a first come, first served basis at all other times. There is a fitness center and computing center in close proximity to our Conference Housing residence halls which are available as part of the Conference Housing fees.

Check-in is scheduled between the hours of 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless you or your group have requested a different check in time in advance. There will be staff on duty after 7 pm for late arrivals but to adequately prepare your room for your arrival, we ask that you do not attempt to check-in earlier than 9 am. Housing registration & check-in takes place in the College Office of the building that you are assigned to. Refer to your housing confirmation packet for specific information and contact telephone numbers.

Parking is limited to the residential lots adjacent to the Conference Housing residence hall. Parking in any other lot / facility on campus requires a campus permit or payment of fees on an hourly / daily basis.
There are two payment options. Conference guests can pay for their housing reservation directly through a secure PayPal link or through a third party grant if a sponsoring group or department wishes to cover participant housing costs through a departmental account / grant.
