Making a Difference in the Community

honor rollIn 2013, Stony Brook gained national  recognition after being named to the President's Honor Roll for Community Service in Higher Education for sustained, lifelong civic engagement. In one year, the University had 9,023 students engaging in more than 82,000 hours of community service. From beach clean ups to food drives, Stony Brook students care about the community.
