Stony Brook University Joined the National GEM Consortium in 2009 and welcomed our first GEM fellow in the Fall of 2010. Since then, Stony Brook is proud to have supported the successful degree attainment of four GEM Fellows:  

Brandon Banarsi
2023 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Brandon is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering.

Allen Pierre-Louis
2022 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Ammar is currently pursuing his MS in Art,Physics.

Jhair Alzamora
2021 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Jhair is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Guilherme Larangeira
2020 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Gui is currently pursuing his PhD in Technology, Policy Innovation.

Stephanie Taboada
2019 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Stephanie is currently pursuing her PhD in Chemical Engineering.
