Designed for individuals new to the world of Green Building and LEED, this workshop offers an introduction to the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), green building principles and the fundamentals of the LEED rating system. Topics covered will include climate change and building impacts, motivators for green building, and conventional versus integrative approaches, including the associated benefits to building design, construction, and operations.

Individuals participating in this course will earn a basic understanding of the intent, concepts, and terms for each LEED credit category, as well as Green Building best practices, regulations, and incentives.
