Mary C. Rawlinson is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Cultural Analysis and Theory at Stony Brook University in New York. She is the editor of The Voice of Breast Cancer in Medicine and Bioethics (Spring, 2006), and the co-editor of Derrida and Feminism (Routledge, 1997), as well as the editor of five issues of the Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, including Foucault and the Philosophy of Medicine, The Future of Psychiatry, and Feminist Bioethics. Her publications include articles on Hegel, Proust, literature and ethics, and French feminism. She is the Editor of The International Journal on Feminist Approaches to Bioethics (IJFAB), as well as the Co-editor of The Irigaray Circle.
