Faculty Affairs staff assist in all matters relating to the recruitment of faculty on state and research funds within the College of Arts and Science. We are responsible for ensuring that all faculty-related actions are done in conformance with College, University, State and Federal procedures and regulations. We work closely with faculty and staff in providing the information and resources to assist them in fulfilling their needs. Personnel actions for faculty include recruitment, hiring, reappointment and evaluation for all fulltime, part-time and temporary faculty and staff; non-salaried appointments; support of College of Arts and Sciences AA/EEO and Promotion and Tenure Committees, coordination of faculty mentoring opportunities, and labor relations. Our staff interact closely with personnel in the Offices of the Provost, Human Resources (including Benefits, Classification and Compensation, State and Research Payroll, Recruitment, Time and Attendance, and Training and Organizational Development), Labor Relations, and the Office of Diversity.
