Yukiko Asano received her B.A. in Linguistics and French from State University of Wisconsin and Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stony Brook University. Her research interests center on complex-predicate formations in Japanese and across languages, and issues of aspectual classification of languages. She serves as the Executive Committee member for the Japan Center at Stony Brook (Community Outreach).
