Mohammed Abdul Mujeeb Khan

 

Mohammed Abdul Mujeeb Khan is an alumnus of Stony Brook University where he majored in Physics with minor concentrations in Japanese and Biology. He received his MA from Harvard University in Regional Studies - East Asia and his MS from the University of Tokyo in the History and Philosophy of Science. Mujeeb is interested in the intellectual history of the Islamic world and East Asia and, in particular, the medical exchange between civilizations, including Sino-Islamic, Graeco-Islamic, and Sino-Japanese medical cultures. His doctoral research will focus on demonstrating that many forms of intellectual progress were a direct result of cultural communication.
