Center for India Studies 

The Center for India Studies was established in 1997.  The Center's mission is to to promote a better appreciation of Indian thought, culture, and civilization by developing expertise and resources for studying India for the benefit of Stony Brook University and the community. The Center aims to give Indian thought and culture its rightful place in schools, universities, public libraries, museums, media, and civic forums. to promote a better appreciation of Indian thought, culture, and civilization by developing expertise and resources for studying India for the benefit of the university and the community. 

Japan Center at Stony Brook

The Japan Center at Stony Brook was established in 2003 with the mission of creating a bridge between the university and the local community and promoting education and research in the study of Japan, Japanese culture and society, and the lives of both Japanese and Japanese-Americans.

Center for Korean Studies

Established in 1982, the Center for Korean Studies at Stony Brook on Long Island, New York has been a vital hub both for academic and community activities related to Korea. As one of the undergraduate minors of SUNY Stony Brook, it currently offers more than a dozen courses in Korean Studies along with diverse opportunities for research and internships.

Charles B. Wang Center 

The Charles B. Wang Center initiates and collaborates with academic departments, student groups, community organizations, and individuals in presenting the public with a multifaceted, intellectually sound, and humane understanding of Asian and Asian American cultures, and their relationship to other cultures. The Wang Center is also a presenting venue for events of cultural, professional and intellectual calibre that are initiated by and involve the various components of Stony Brook University, Long Island communities and organizations as well as other regional, national, and international constituencies. The Wang Center is non-partisan and non-sectarian, and upholds the values of pluralism, democracy, and equality.
