FRAME Fellows:

  • Are Registered through the Stony Brook University Center for Inclusive Education

  • Are committed to a research career in their respective STEM field

  • Seek to join the professoriate

  • Are committed to promoting diversity in the academy as researchers, teachers and mentors

  • Join research programs at SBU, BNL or both during their FRAME Fellowship period

  • Receive additional financial support for research, conferences and educational training based on FRAME and NSF guidelines

  • Are US Citizens

 

 Paths to Becoming a FRAME Fellow:  

Doctoral Student Path

  • Established doctoral student seeking experience at a research-intensive institution to enrich training

Postdoctoral Scientist Path

  • Experienced postdoctoral associate seeking experience to make the transition to independent researcher as a member of the professoriate
