APPLY FOR GRADUATION

If you are a senior with at least 108 credits, and you will have met all of your degree requirements -- DECs, skills, 39-upperdivision credits, total credits, major, (and minor, if you are in the College of Business), by this December or January, be sure and apply via SOLAR under the “Apply for Graduation” link. The deadline to apply for graduation is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10. It is CRITICAL that you review your degree progress report on SOLAR to see if anything in the general education areas show as BOLD – that means it’s a requirement that either is not in-progress or has not been met. Also, check with your major (and minor, if applicable) department to ensure you will have met all requirements by the end of this semester. For a list of major/minor advisors, visit http://www.stonybrook.edu/commcms/advising/maj_min_adv.shtml

If you will be completing all of your degree requirements in the fall semester please choose the "December" graduation date.  If you will be completing all of your degree requirements in the winter session, please choose the "January" graduation date.  Both candidates (December & January) will walk in the DECEMBER ceremony.
