Advance registration tentatively set to begin for Winter & Spring 2013 semesters. * Extended due to hurricane Sandy.

   1.  CREDIT LIMITS

Beginning Friday, January 25, students can enroll in up to 19 credits (From 17).  Starting Wednesday, January 30, continuing students who have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA with no incompletes or Q grades on their record can enroll in a maximum of 23 credits. ($20 fee will be automatically billed to students’ accounts for students who enroll in more than 19 credits). Credit limit will remain at 19 credits for all other students not meeting the above criteria.




2.  THE MAJOR EVENT

Every Academic Department and many special interest areas converge in one forum to connect with you. Gather information by speaking directly with faculty, administrators, and peers regarding all of the majors, minors, and special programs offered at Stony Brook. Come and explore!

To find your Enrollment Appointment follow these steps below.  Your Enrollment Appointment is the date and time on which you can begin registering for Spring 2013 classes.

1.  Log-in to SOLAR
2.  Click on Student Records & Registration 
3.  Select Enrollment link
4.  Click Enrollment Date and choose Spring 2013
