3.  ACADEMIC & PRE-PROFESSIONAL ADVISING CENTER CHANGES

Our name has changed! We are now known as Academic and Transfer Advising Services.  Our office provides general advising for transfers, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  We help students develop their academic plans for graduation and work with students in academic difficulty.  Academic and Transfer Advising Services evaluates transfer credits and serves as a central communicator regarding academic deadlines, policies, and events to all undergraduates.

The Transfer office, formerly in room 134 Administration Building, is no longer operational at that location. The staffs of the former Transfer Office and Academic and Pre-Professional Advising Center have merged to form one office, now known as Academic and Transfer Advising Services, E-2360 Melville Library.

Please Note:  Pre-Professional advising has moved! Students seeking Pre-health or Pre-law advising should now go to the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, E-3310 Melville Library. (One floor up from Academic & Transfer Advising Services).
