Each year, we honor alumni and other members of the Stony Brook family who were lost
on September 11, 2001. Their deaths strengthen our resolve as a University community
to foster the most basic ideals of freedom and equality.

9 am to 2 pm
Join students, faculty and staff for a short pause in your day to honor the victims
and heroes of 9/11 by placing pinwheels on the grass near the Academic Mall (adjacent
to the fountain and the Staller Steps).
