The absolute zero point of our timeline is not in the present but the deepest past (see log 10). However, since all historiography moves from the present into the past, we begin log 0 at the 2013 timetick in our extended present, which incorporates the near future. This way, we do not have to adjust the starting point of the CGLH Timeline until 2013.
